Overwatch is a stunning game all on its own with its bright visuals and flashy effects. That said, Overwatch 4K should look much more beautiful on the Xbox One X.
Overwatch 4K enhancements
The Xbox One X recently hit the market and it seems to be doing fairly well. Microsoft boasts the console as the most powerful unit in the market, allowing for 4K gaming. Similarly, developers have been dropping “enhanced” patches, allowing their games to reach that certain resolution. Iconic titles like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Call of Duty: WW2, and Rise of the Tomb Raider all look stunning after the patch.
That said, it seems like Blizzard is looking into creating a patch for Overwatch. According to Windows Central, the developers are excited with the “great possibilities Xbox One X opens up,” and they are looking into the different options into how they can enhance the game on the console’s hardware. They are planning on releasing an enhanced patch in the near future and will share mo details “later.”
It isn’t all too surprising that Blizzard is working on more patches and updates for the game. They continuously release new content to enhance their titles on certain platforms. Back in October, they released the Halloween Terror seasonal event from last year, this time with much more content.
They also revealed some new things for the game at BlizzCon 2017, with one thing being a new Support hero. Moira is already playable on the PTR and Blizzard plans on bringing in Blizzard World to the test server soon. The game will also be getting a slew of new non-seasonal skins next year.
For now, fans will have to keep waiting for more news regarding the Overwatch 4K Xbox One X patch. You can play the first-person shooter on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
