Ana Amari is a unique hero in a sense that you have to shoot your allies to heal them. She also has a lot of tricks up her sleeve, giving her the ability to debuff foes. Here are some Overwatch Ana tips to help you learn the hero.
Overwatch Ana tips: Prioritization
Out of all of the heroes in the game, Ana has one of the most hectic playstyles. She must continuously watch over her allies and enemies in battle. While her damage output might not be as strong, she is still a capable fighter. When pressed with the choice of either hurting an enemy or healing an ally, choose the latter option. Remember that your main role is a healer, so you must focus on saving your team.
However, if your allies are topped up or are being healed by another hero, you can try sniping a few enemies. Make your shots count as they can mean the difference between life and death. Try learning how to quick scope to get the most out of her shots.
Overwatch Ana tips: Debuffs
Ana has two useful skills: Biotic Grenade and Sleep Dart. The Biotic Grenade is great for healing a group of allies and tanks. Try throwing it in during a team fight to also debuff your foes. Her Sleep Dart is her main mode of “escape” since she has no other mobility skills. However, don’t be afraid to throw out the dart a few times during team fights as you never know who you might hit.
During 1v1 fights, you can eliminate a weakened 200 HP enemy by shooting, sleep dart, melee, and lobbing a biotic grenade. This combo isn’t as effective after her nerf, but it can still get the job done if you perform it correctly. You can play as Ana in Overwatch for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
