Razer has partnered up with Overwatch yet again to release another set of headphones. The Overwatch D.Va headphones are perfect for cosplayers and gamers alike for its sleek design, reminiscent to the Korean Tank hero.
New gaming accessories
Earlier at BlizzCon, Razer announced some new officially licensed PC gaming accessories. These aren’t your typical Razer gaming gear as they are Overwatch inspired, specifically by D.Va. There are three new accessories, with the Overwatch D.Va headphones stealing the spotlight with its amazing take on her real headgear.
Aside from the headphones, they are also releasing a matching themed mouse and mousepad. Both items are tastefully pink and have D.Va’s signature bunny logo on them. The mouse stands at $60 with a 7,200 DPI optical sensor and three buttons. The mousepad, on the other hand, is $20 and will stay flat even if you roll it up and keep it in your backpack.
Other Overwatch gear
This isn’t the first time Blizzard has teamed up with Razer to produce game-themed accessories. They previously released a headset and a mouse with the Overwatch logo on it. Their latest collaboration is quite fitting as D.Va aka Hana Song was a professional Starcraft gamer from South Korea.
She competed in plenty of tournaments and even became an international star. While she earned plenty of fans because of her career, Hana was eventually drafted to join the Korean military to pilot the MEKA mechs. She decided to push through with the military and abandoned her post as a professional gamer. Since then, D.Va has begun streaming her combat operations to her fans which has only made her into a global icon.
Fans will have to wait for further news about when the Overwatch D.Va headphones will go on sale. You can play Overwatch on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
