Blizzard recently added Overwatch hero Moira to the Public Test Realm a few days after BlizzCon 2017. That said, here’s when you can expect her to hit the live servers.
Where is Overwatch hero Moira?
Those who are looking to play a new Support hero are in luck as Blizzard just released a new Talon healer. If you are playing on PC, you have the chance to try her right now on the Public Test Realm. However, many players are looking forward to trying her out once Blizzard patches her in the live servers.
They will be holding a free weekend this Nov. 17 to let new players try out the first-person shooter and some of the new content. One interesting thing to point out about the announcement is that they claimed 26 heroes will be playable. Going by this, there’s a good chance Moira will release sometime this week. That, or she might be on the PTR for a few more weeks to undergo testing.
Overwatch hero Moira has a lot of unique abilities that make her different from the other Support heroes in the game. While she can heal like Mercy or Ana, the geneticist needs to suck the lifeforce out of enemies. Moira does not have any ammo but relies on a resource bar for her healing. If that bar runs out, she won’t be able to use her primary fire.
On the other hand, she has a set of Biotic Orbs that can heal or damage enemies from afar. These orbs can bounce around rooms, making them useful against groups of allies or enemies. Finally, her ultimate ability, Coalescence, both damages and heals enemies at the same time. This is great if you need to sustain allies under heavy fire while dishing out some good damage.
Overwatch hero Moira is currently on the PTR, but it won’t be too long now before Blizzard patches her in the main game.
